Cookson Facing Fine

He is consistantly top of the goalscoring charts, but now Modus star Chris Cookson has also moved joint top of the Modus booking league with 1 booking. His apparent 'infringement' came on the game of 11th June 2007 against Stolze, in which Modus were missing defensive duo Peden and Stiltsmon and went down 4-2.

Cookson joins fellow dirty bastard Peden on 1 booking, who's blatent hack on DMAC's Robbie Savage last season left him seeing yellow.

The speedy, hard hitting Cookson must now send a Cheque or Postal Order for £8.00, along with his details to the Champion Soccer offices at:

... or he could probably hand it in at next week's game.

 

Below is an eye witness account from Neil Astin, this is how he remembers seeing Chris Cookson moments before the incident

As you can see, he is very cute and would not harm a fly (although he does appear to have physcotic eyes)

 

Now, here is what the referee saw moments before the incident:

When asked by reporters about the controvertial booking the ref said:

"I was left with no choice, the lad turned green and ripped his shirt off the snarled at the other lad and then smashed him up big time"
